Whose Line fic recs plea
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Does someone on my flist know of any good Colin/Ryan fics? Everything I've found is way too mushy for my tastes. To the point of tooth decay.

I love it when the men act like men - in this case: dysfunctional, affectionate, middle-aged, intelligent, smart-ass comedians with 20 years of friendship behind them. Come on. I neeeeed it. D: And for goodness' sake, if you've written Colin/Ryan fic yourself, REC IT TO ME, precious. I shall eat it all up with my evening coffee. :9

*desparate for her Colin/Ryan fix, dammit*

ETA: Alright, it seems I wasn't specific enough in what kind of fics I'm looking for, oops. :D I love any sorts of fics, as long as they act like men, you know? No crying, no declarations of undying lurve etc etc. I'm also a big fan of humour (they are comedians, after all) and a bit of angsty romance would be nice. :D

'What was that?'

Colin glared at Ryan, his eyes a bit buggy and his hands on his hips. Ryan looked back at him, surprised, sipping his water as crew members milled about and the other cast members pretended not to pay attention.

'What was what?'

Colin rolled his eyes. '"The letter H"?' he mimicked in that faux-sneer that never failed to prompt laughter. Ryan didn't laugh.

'It's just a game, Col. It's not like they know we're--'

He bit his tongue as Colin seized his arm and dragged him off and into his dressing room, slamming the door behind them. He pushed him back into the wall, staring him down despite his lesser height (and the fact that Ryan could see the lights from the mirror shining off his head).

'Do you have to be so obvious?' he hissed. 'People already suspect what we get up to - you don't have to go advertising it!'

Ryan blinked at him, and then chuckled. His chuckle turned into a laugh, and then a guffaw, despite Colin's continued fury.

'What is so goddamn funny?' Colin snapped, fingers tightening on Ryan's arm until Ryan knew he was going to have bruises.

'You, of all people,' Ryan snickered, trying and failing to stifle his laughter, 'should know that making fun of yourself is the best way to keep other people from doing it. The more we pretend we're actually fucking off-set, the less people will actually believe it.'

'I know that, idiot,' Colin said, releasing his arm. 'I just meant that you make it so clear that you're.....'

Ryan's brow furrowed, and then understanding hit, and he laughed before he could stop himself. 'Top?' At the confirming look on Colin's face, he laughed again. 'If it bothers you that much, we can always do it the other way.'

Colin flushed, and Ryan raised a brow. 'Something wrong?'

'I'm not quite sure how to make it look as...'

'Natural?' Ryan smirked. 'Well, there's a remedy for that, you know.'

It took exactly three seconds for Colin to catch Ryan's gist. 'Ohhhhhhh....' he said, his eyes starting to gleam.

Ryan laughed. 'That's a lot of Hs.'

Colin smirked, looking so comically wicked that Ryan felt a profound sense of relief amidst the arousal. 'Exactly.'

I totally think Colin would be the top in the relationship, anyway. He pwns Ryan's ass on stage, I'm sure he does it when they're naked too.
