ART: "Threat To Camelot" (Merlin)
I HAZ MOAR MERLIN 4 U GUYZ. 8D

Title: Threat To Camelot
Fandom: Merlin
Character: Merlin
Rating: PG-13 for blood and low riding trousers (!)
Notes: Otherwise known as "that Merlin-in-chains sketch" - drawn in the pub at the London Merlin meet-up on Valentine's Day. I gave the original sketch to [info]annephoenix, but I decided to redraw and polish it up into something more presentable for you guys. :D



So, ok. Uther has discovered (by some retarded slip-up) that Merlin is a SORCEROR ONOZ, and promptly has him whipped and thrown into the worst cell in the castle dungeons. Arthur finds out and is banned from visiting Merlin, because his father knows that Arthur is inappropriately partial to that mere servant. Arthur hatches a plan to sneak a visit, and this is what he sees on finally gaining access to Merlin's cell. :O!

I've constantly felt guilty the entire time I was working on this. I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON, I AM SO SORRY, MERLIN! ♥ ♥ ♥ *cuddles*

So who's gonna write the fic where Arthur comes and rescues him? >___>

ah, poor Merlin indeed! beautifully drawn, though, there's a lot of emotion in that pose.
(I *must believe* that Arthur is just out of frame coming down heavy on the guards. ;) )

Ooooh, I really like the lines of light coming through :)

And maybe I should start watching it properly- I only caught it once on tv, quite a while before my FLIST exploded with it! I was walking past [and it made me forget what I was getting/doing in the living room and just stand there watching the whole thing haha!] but I'm so never ever good at remembering when things are on, even if I know I'll enjoy it and even when I make the point of circling them in the TV Guide >_<

I didn't watch the show when it was on telly - in fact, I refused to wathc it cos I thought it would be crap like Robin Hood. But I later downloaded the episodes instead :D!
