Percy, Percy, Percy

Ta-da! Here you go, [info]icarusancalion. Layout art for the newly acquired Percy Ficathon site. Hope you like; it's pretty simple and would look good down the side of the page.

ETA: Bugger, I just realised I forgot to ask if you wanted school boy Percy or Ministry worker Percy. Will this do? I'll change it if necessary. :)

My *god* that was fast.

His face -! The smug superior look, the arched disapproving eyebrow. Perfect. The hooded eyes, the sprinkling of freckles. The slight frown of his mouth is so... Percy.

The slightly turned oblique gesture of shoulders is *smack* -- right there. So suits a man who doesn't deal with life head on, and yet somehow manages to not have the shit stick to him. Masculine, yet, but quite prissy.

*Icarus begs for forgiveness because she's being ridiculously picky, but if she's driving [info]singtoangels up the wall, well, let's share the delight.* The only question, and it's the only one is that I couldn't tell without reading the caption that he was picking/brushing/flicking non-existent lint off his sleeve. My first thought was, "Tai Chi?"

The shadows on his sweater and trousers are perfect, add just the right depth.

On an unrelated note, yesterday I was eating Haagen Dazs directly out of the carton. I looked down and realised I was holding the carton with my pinky out, like it was afternoon tea. I thought, "That's it. I've become Percy."

HAAAAH! That's exactly why I put the caption, because I thought it looked like that too. It's cos his hand brushing the lint off is at the wrong angle. But I was so pleased at getting a decent looking hand, I couldn't bear to rub the whole thing out and start again. :O

Argh. Um, I will fix it some time in the future, when I can be bothered to. *nods*

Oooh ooh ooh! Fantastic Percy! I love the snooty look and yet he still has that Weasley face, eeeheheh! And his hair! Even his hair is poncy, it's so cute. The texture you used for the sweater is great! Fits so nicely.

I can't get over the delicate way he's brushing off his sweater. It's just. So. Percy. *G*

Oh aaaaah Percy! :) I love this. It's very nice how you used a structure for his shirt. The expression is great, too. Slightly frowning. And I really like the hair.

What a lovely Percy. A little bit on the delicate side, just the way I like him.

Sort of relatedly, he looks like he's performing Bharata Natyam (classical Indian dance). I almost want to write a drabble of an explanation. . .

Query: for the above picture, would it be all right with you if it was used (with credit, of course) for the 2006 Percy Ficathon? This art has been my mental picture of Percy since I first saw it; it's so profoundly him.
